The Baztan-Bidasoa river is famous for its clean waters and for preserving one of the most fascinating river species: the salmon. We suggest that you follow the same path that the salmon do from the river to the sea.

Stages
Day 1- Elizondo.
Arrival at the hotel. We will have a meeting to talk about the route and hand out the material, clear up any doubts, etc
Day 2- Stage 1: ELIZONDO-LESAKA/BERA
We will depart from Elizondo through secondary roads until we reach the village of Arraioz. We will continue biking until we reach the natural park of Bertiz, where you will have the chance to visit the botanical-historical garden. From there, we will bike towards the valley of Bertizarana and cross the magnificent bridge of Reparacea. We will take a little break in Doneztebe and then continue to Sunbilla. We will enjoy the tranquillity of pedalling near the river and visit waterfalls, such as Bisusta. The stage will finish in one of the lovely villages of the Bortziriak valley.
Day 3- Stage 2: LESAKA/BERA-HONDARRIBIA
This one is a shorter stage. We will get to the sea and enjoy one of the most beautiful villages of the Basque coast. Don’t forget to visit the old town, the beach, and the bars full of delicious ‘pintxos’
Day 4- Hondarribia
Having breakfast and taking a stroll by the sea is priceless. In the afternoon a cab will pick us up and take us to Elizondo to end the trip.
