STAGES
Elizondo
Arrival at the hotel. We will have a meeting to clear up any doubts.
DAY 2- Stage 1: ELIZONDO-AINHOA
The stage starts in Elizondo. We will leave the village and start climbing up until we arrive in the neighbourhood of Beartzun. From there, we will descend towards the village of Erratzu. After biking through Bozate, a neighbourhood known for the ‘cagots’ or ‘agotes’, we will climb up to the Itzulegi hill and we will enter the French Basque Country among green meadows and finish the stage in the beautiful Ainhoa.
DAY 3- Stage 2: AINHOA-BERA
We will leave Ainhoa and head to the lovely village of Sara. From there, we will climb the Lizuniaga hill and start descending to the Navarrese village of Bera.
DAY 4- Stage 3: BERA-DONEZTEBE
We will leave Bera and go into the woods to reach the beautiful village of Lesaka. From there, we will climb to the lovely village of Etxalar. After recovering for a bit, we will gain altitude up until we reach the Bidasoa greenway and finish the stage.
DAY 5- Stage 4: DONEZTEBE-ELIZONDO
Despite being the shortest stage, it is full of impressive landscapes. The beginning of the stage will be calm. Then, we will begin a long climb to the village of Ziga. From there, we will bike through forests and breathtaking landscapes until we reach the village of Gartzain and bike down to Elizondo.
